I was about to rant about Googles iOS apps: many of them are poorly designed and buggy. The Google+ app always was an exception — it has beat the Facebook app easily. But the new 2.0 version is just breathtaking, hands down the most beautifully animated app I know on iOS. It also seems to handle poor network connections gracefully, something that is particularly important in NYC.
Good bye Wall Street: End of May I will move out of the Wall Street office to the other side of the Hudson. I’ve been here for a while, so I’m not too sad about it, but during the next few weeks I’ll shoot some photos around here, just for preserving memories.
Correction: end of May 2003 we went on vacation for the first time since we had moved to New York. We didn’t have to go far - Montauk is a mere 3 hours by train from the city. Weather-wise we had bad luck - it was raining most of the time. Good that I had my Palm PDA with me.
